After taking breakfast in Coron Lodge, we were fetched by the tourist guide at around 9am; first stop is Twin Lagoon
Here in Twin Lagoon the temperature of water is different from the bottom to the top (if you are submerged into the water - in my feet I can feel that it is cold, but on my upper body it is warm); also, from what I remember is when I looked down into the water it is like there is an oil below the water;
some of the mountain rocks going to Twin Lagoon where local tribesmen get bird's nest because of its high price value, I forgot the name of the birds, hehehe
this is the entrance going into its "twin" lagoon; it was low tide when we went here; but if it is high tide you can swim going into the other side, notice the stairs above? that is how high if it is high tide :)
inside the other lagoon;
going out of twin lagoon; next stop is CYC (Coron Youth Club)
we stayed here for just a short period of time, took some pictures; this is a place where most of the town folks go because it does not have an entrance fee :) most of the islands have entrance fees and some are not open to public; next stop is Banol Beach
Banol Beach - this is where we have taken our lunch, it also has clear water; on its shore small fishes can be seen;
After taking lunch, we went to Skeleton Ship Wreck; it does not have a record on books (currently) what type of ship it is. Snorkeling!
Next stop - Kayangan Lake; to get to the Kayangan lake, you need to hike; yes you need to do some hiking :) don't worry there are stairs going up and down till you reach the lake and don't forget to read the rules below, hehehe!
aahhhhh! view from the top (below pic)
the Kayangan Lake itself, it is a freshwater, not saltwater
Last stop - Siete Picados; I forgot the story why it was called Siete Picados, it has many corals and fishes; also a breeding ground for corals and fishes, stepping on the corals is not allowed; Snorkeling!
After that? went back to town proper; pics below while on our way back
Dinner and Rest.... zzzzzz......
