Completing the RunRio Race 2012 Trilogy

At last I've completed the Runrio Trilogy (UNILAB ActiveHealth) 2012; 1st and 2nd Leg are both 21k Runs.  The last one is a 32k Run.  The experience is great! The rain didn't stop us, the runners, in getting our goal.  It was said that in this 32k event alone, there are almost 3k runners! Although I didn't not completed my training program for this running event, I've managed to finished the run.  There are some things I've learned from this event -  don't drink too much water or else you will need to pee and by peeing you will waste a lot of time; the CLIFF Shot Energy Gel worked for me (test before the actual race day); run at your own pace.  Since it is a rainy day, I was forced to run without my eyeglasses and run slowly than my usual pace.  I also saw the Kenyans (running for 21k event) along Buendia (these guys really run fast!).  I wanted to run the 1st Philippine UNILAB Marathon this October but I won't run it because this is only my first year of running,  and based from what I've read,  they are saying that you do not run full marathon on your first year of running. I'll follow their advice.  Instead, I'll prepare for my first marathon which will be on February next year.  Hopefully I'll complete my training program for this one.  Finished the 32k at 3:54:38 chiptime (yahoo!).

Less Work, Higher Salary

I still cannot understand why most of people are always like this: they want to be paid higher salaries but with minimal work; I've been observing my co-workers (I'm new to this company) and this is the trend right now, people are complaining too much in what they are doing and getting less paid. I've observed this especially to newly graduated people; they don't care anymore if they learn a little, they are more interested in earning MORE; sometimes I also feel that way, sometimes I'm asking myself why am I helping this people and sharing them the things that I've learned event though I know their intention - resign after a year or less to get a higher salary. There are also some co-workers that will little by little they will pass their responsibilities to you then... resign! Well... life must still go on.

The Photographer

Yes, I've started out photography as one of my hobbies. Although quite expensive, I've managed to buy a Canon 550D with 18-55mm lens kit last December. I've got a lot of things to learn in photography and will be posting some of my pics here. Yes, I know, I know, need to improve a lot :)

This one is titled "The Photographer"; I don't know why but.... I want its title to be just it :)
